Who we are
A UK-registered digital agency helping businesses in the United Kingdom, France, Belgium and Switzerland build credible, high-performing websites — with senior craft, bilingual delivery and transparent scopes.
Faraday Web Services Ltd is a web and AI agency built for owners and marketing leaders who want a site that looks premium, loads fast, ranks on Google and turns visitors into enquiries — not another template with a ticket queue behind it.
We work remotely across the United Kingdom, France, Belgium and Switzerland. You speak directly with the people who design, build and optimise your project. That direct line is deliberate: it keeps decisions fast, quality high and communication honest from the first call to launch and beyond.
Faraday Web Services was founded to close a gap we kept seeing in the market. Small and mid-sized businesses were paying agency prices for junior delivery — or buying cheap templates that looked acceptable on day one but failed within a year on speed, SEO, security and conversion. Owners were left managing plugins, broken forms and agencies that had moved on to the next account.
We built Faraday as a compact, senior studio registered in England & Wales (company number 13228535). Our model is simple: a tight team of experienced designers and developers, bilingual in English and French, focused on outcomes that matter to your business — qualified leads, online sales, local visibility and systems that your team can actually use after handover.
Over the years we have shipped more than a hundred and twenty projects: brochure sites for local services, multi-location brands, WooCommerce and Shopify stores, training and education platforms, automotive and hospitality sites, and AI-assisted workflows for content and customer support. Each project reinforced the same lesson: clarity of scope, disciplined execution and respect for the owner's time beat flashy pitches every time.
A professional website is not a brochure you publish once. It is infrastructure for growth. It should load quickly on mobile networks, meet modern accessibility expectations, declare clearly what you offer and to whom, and give search engines structured information they can trust. When those foundations are right, marketing spend works harder and sales conversations start warmer.
We therefore treat performance, technical SEO and conversion paths as part of design — not as optional extras sold later. We document decisions, use maintainable stacks where appropriate (WordPress, custom PHP, modern front ends, integrated APIs), and explain trade-offs in plain language so you can choose knowingly between speed, flexibility and budget.
We are equally cautious about hype. Artificial intelligence is a powerful layer when scoped well — content assistance, search, automation, integrations — but it is not a substitute for strategy or brand voice. When we deploy AI on client projects, we do so with human review, clear data handling and maintainable architecture so you are not locked into a black box.
Every engagement starts with listening. We ask about your customers, margins, geography, competitors and internal capacity. That discovery shapes a proposal with explicit deliverables, milestones and responsibilities — what we build, what you provide (text, images, approvals), and what happens after launch.
Design follows with wireframes or structured page plans where useful, then visual design aligned to your brand. Development is iterative: you see progress on staging, test on real devices, and refine before go-live. We run checks for performance, forms, tracking, redirects and basic security before DNS changes, and we stay available for a defined hypercare period after launch.
For ongoing needs we offer maintenance and evolution: security updates, backups, content changes, new landing pages, SEO iterations and feature work. Many clients treat us as their long-term digital partner rather than a one-off supplier — that continuity improves results because we already understand your market and codebase.
Our service catalogue covers the full lifecycle of a modern commercial website. That includes custom brochure and corporate sites, WordPress builds with editor-friendly structures, e-commerce on WooCommerce or Shopify, landing pages and sales funnels, technical and content SEO, speed optimisation, API and CRM integrations, AI chatbots and automation, hosting guidance and redesigns with SEO-safe migrations.
We are comfortable with bilingual and multi-country setups — separate domains or subfolders, hreflang, localised copy, tax and shipping logic for e-commerce, and compliance-conscious forms. For regulated or trust-sensitive sectors (health, training, professional services, automotive), we pay extra attention to clarity, credibility signals and contact paths that match how your customers actually decide.
If you already have a site, we audit before we promise. Sometimes a focused rebuild delivers more than endless patches; sometimes targeted improvements are enough. We will tell you which honestly, because our incentive is your result, not the largest possible project.
Our clients are primarily small and mid-sized businesses, founders, marketing managers and organisations that need a credible digital presence without hiring an in-house team. Typical sectors include local and national services, e-commerce, education and training, hospitality, professional practices, automotive networks and B2B specialists.
We work well with clients who value direct communication and timely feedback. Projects move fastest when one decision-maker owns approvals and content arrives on agreed dates. We can support you with copy structure and SEO guidance, but we do not guess your commercial promises — accuracy matters for trust and for law.
Although registered in the UK, most of our delivery is remote and asynchronous-friendly. We serve clients in London, regional UK markets, France, Belgium and Switzerland daily — in English and French — and we understand practical differences: VAT and consumer expectations, metric vs imperial nuances where relevant, local search behaviour, and French-language SEO as distinct from translated English.
Time zones are aligned enough for video calls and same-day responses on business days. When you need on-site workshops or photography, we coordinate with your local partners while keeping technical leadership central so your site remains coherent.
Every build is reviewed against a practical checklist: semantic structure, heading hierarchy, form deliverability, SSL, caching, image compression, backup strategy and update path for your CMS or framework. We avoid unnecessary plugins and dependencies that become liabilities in year two. When we integrate third-party tools — analytics, CRM, payments, booking — we document credentials and data flows so your team is not dependent on guesswork.
Security is treated as hygiene, not a premium upsell. That means strong passwords and roles on admin accounts, sensible firewall rules where hosting allows, spam protection on public forms and clear guidance if you handle personal data subject to UK GDPR or EU requirements. We will flag when you need legal review; we do not pretend to be lawyers, but we build forms and storage with privacy in mind.
We publish clear scopes rather than opaque packages that hide essentials. You receive ownership of the code, design files and accounts we create on your behalf unless otherwise agreed in writing. We do not hold sites hostage for ransom fees. If you choose to move hosting later, we help you do it cleanly.
